Why to change Background Image?

Designing your blog is a crucial factor and it will helps you to impress your readers at first sight.  How does your blog backgroundaids in impressing readers? You may not care about it, but your blog background which spread over large amount of area could be able to convey what type of blog and what kind of personality you have.

How to change Background Image?

1.  Login to your Blogger account, 
2. Click on your blog title
3. Navigate to Template

4. Click on Customize button

5. Click on Background on left panel

6. There you can find heading Background image and click on the image box below the heading.

7. Select your new background image 

8. Click Done button after you choose background image

9. click Apply to Blog button to commit your changes

Here’s the Custom CSS that Colin used to change from the gradient to the diagonal cross-hatch:

body { background-image: url(http://www.missmaryk.com/nimbg3.gif); background-repeat: repeat; }

This tells the browser, Take the graphic nimbg3.gif and use it for the background, repeat it as much as needed to fill up the background. (You’ll often hear this called ‘tiling’ because it is like using the graphic to ‘tile’ across all the available space.)

Your turn: Upload a graphic for your background and then add to your Custom CSS:

body { background-image: url(http://link-to-your-graphic-goes-here.com/filename.gif); background-repeat: repeat; }

If you have a graphic you don't want to have repeated - or tiled - across the screen, simply tell the browser not to repeat it and it will appear just one time, in the upper left:

body { background-image: url("http://link-to-your-graphic-goes-here.com/filename.gif"); background-repeat: no-repeat; }

Save and reload.
